Phi Sigma Rho, National Sorority

Phi Sigma Rho is a national social sorority for women in engineering and engineering technology. Our sisterhood is made up of women who are studying an area of engineering, but also actively take part in campus activities within the social Greek system. In addition to socials, the sisters of Phi Sigma Rho are involved in community service projects and philanthropies such as the Girl Scouts of America and the American Cancer Society.

Phi Sigma Rho, CASE Colony

In Fall 2002, several engineering students formed the Phi Sigma Rho Colony. In February 2003, the 15 members of the Alpha Class were inducted. In April, 2003, CASE's Panhellenic Council approved expansion, and the Phi Sigma Rho Colony was accepted as an Associate Member. A petition for a charter was submitted to Phi Sigma Rho National Committee during the summer of 2003. Three beta class members joined the Colony in September 2003. In October, 2003, the Colony was approved to receive a charter. On December 6, 2003, the Phi Sigma Rho Case Colony became the Omicron Chapter of Phi Sigma Rho when the Alpha and Beta classes were initiated.

In February, 2004, the Gamma class was inducted. By March, 2004, Phi Sigma Rho met all requirements for regular membership to the Panhellenic Council and their petition is submitted. On April 13, 2004, Phi Sigma Rho Omicron Chapter receives full membership to the Case Western Reserve University Panhel.

In Fall 2005, the Omicron Chapter moved into the house that was once Scholars house.

Becoming a member
